The Museo de los Aromas (Museum of Aromas) is the first and only existing museum of its kind in Spain and Europe. The centre combines the fun experience of recognising and analysing different aromas with research on smell (funded by CSIC, ONCE Foundation, among others), a sense so forgotten in these days yet so important to human beings. The Museo de los Aromas remembers myriad scents. There are long-forgotten aromas, aromas that heal, aromas that sicken, dangerous aromas, wine aromas, citric aromas, aroma therapy, perfumes, coffee aromas, oil aromas... Designed in the style of a house, each different area puts visitors to the test as they try to recognise the different aromas and learn about their origin and use from ancient times to present days.
