The event with designation of origin highlights the natural richness of the area with routes that pass through the Senda del Rio Duero (GR14) and the vineyards of some of the main wineries of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin, such as Protos, Dehesa de los Canónigos, Comenge, Tr3sMano, Carramimbre, Emilio Moro, Vivaltus, Servilio, Vinos Santos Arranz - Lágrima Negra, and Vinos de la Luz. It also emphasizes heritage, with routes passing through towns and monuments of great historical value such as Peñafiel Castle, the Archaeological Site of Pintia in Padilla de Duero, Plaza del Coso in Peñafiel, and the squares of Pesquera de Duero and Curiel de Duero.

The 2024 edition will again feature its three classic distances: 30, 17, and 7 kilometers. However, as every year, the organizers will make some changes to make the routes more attractive. The program will also be attractive, running parallel to the sports event throughout the weekend with guided tours of the wineries, tastings, live music, and children's activities.
