Monument
This building was built with the spatial monumentality of the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, by the stonemason Juan de Navaceda. It is a construction that consists of three naves, stone walls and regular rigging masonry. It has a headboard with Gothic windows, interior with plasters of the roofs of the ships, starry vault in false transept, large pilasters that provide slenderness and two Gothic arches. It has a large room of twelve sections of vaulting that stand on pillars of polygonal base and circular section in its elevation, with cover of false brick vault with decoration of plaster -except in the fourth section that is vaulted with ribbed and ribbed crucería .
Inside it houses an altarpiece of Nuestra Señora de Basardilla, from the mid-seventeenth century with the image of the Virgen de Basardilla that was formerly located in the hermitage of the town, you can also find an eighteenth-century receptacle, made by Manuel Sandoval and a nineteenth-century tabernacle of Pedro Munar.
