Also remarkable are the Convent of San José (Church), with guided visits arranged in the tourist office (947 55 20 63), the Convent of Carmen, founded in the 16th century, with possible visit only to the exterior, The Monastery of the Madres Franciscanas Concepcionistas, home of the MM. Community Franciscan Conceptionists and the Museum-Smithy of Jose Cerezo (947 55 20 69).

Of special beauty are its walls with the "Gate of the Nuns", its hamlet with adobe or wooden facades and the Plaza Mayor that houses the Rollo.

Peñaranda de Duero celebrates its festivities in honor of Santiago Apóstol (July 25) and Santa Ana (July 26), the patron saint of the collegiate church and therefore the parish celebration. In addition, on September 8, the protagonist is Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, patroness of Peñaranda.

In 2018 the municipality of Peñaranda de Duero has been declared as "The most beautiful town of Castilla y León" in the category of less than 1,000 inhabitants by the contest organized through Radio Televisión Castilla y León.
