A haven of peace and tranquility under the poplars on the banks of the Duero. Known as "La Barca", this area has been authorized by the Quintanilla de Arriba City Council with services such as shower, drinking water, tables with benches, a slide, a wooden walkway and piers. The sand is replenished every summer and is an area declared suitable for bathing (water analysis included) by the census of the Junta de Castilla y León (dated 2020). The buoys delimit the bathing area and access from the shore to the water is easy, since the depth is increasing progressively. This area is located right on the path of the "Senda del Duero GR-14" as it passes through this town of Valladolid.
