Padilla de Duero
Padilla de Duero is a town belonging to the municipality of Peñafiel since the mid-1970s.
It is located here the ancient city vacceo of Pintia defended by moat and wall of the sixth century (a.C.).
The history and way of life according to the findings made in the Archaeological Site of Pintia are recreated in the Archaeological Hall of Pintia (Poblado Vacceo) that you can visit in Peñafiel.
It also has the Nuestra Señora de la Asunción Church, building built in stone in the sixteenth century, with reforms in the eighteenth century. The tower, at the head, in stone, has a single body.
