The archaeological zone located in Padilla de Duero and Pesquera de Duero constitutes a large archaeological complex, on the left margin of the middle course of the Duero. It is one of the most important archaeological sites in the community of Castilla y León.

Parque Arqueológico Roa de Duero

Seated on a spur above the river, pre-Roman settlement Roa was significant (vacceo), being occupied at different times.Interpretation center and exhibition that runs 500.000años of history, from the time of Atapuerca, through the Neolithic and Metal Age, until the Roman empire and later arrival of Visigoths and Arabs.The Archaeological Hall is part of the visit, reviewing by all civilizations settlers of the town.

Yacimiento Arqueológico de Pintia – Poblado Vacceo

Pintia city, is located at the eastern end of the province of Valladolid, between the terms of Padilla de Duero (Peñafiel) and Pesquera de Duero, on both sides of the River Douro.

This archaeological site was declared a Cultural Interest in 1993 and consists of the village of Quintanas, the necropolis of Wheels, the ustrinum or crematory of ashpits (between Hoyos and wheels) in Padilla de Duero, and since at the end of Pesquera de Duero, the artisan neighborhood Carralaceña your residential area, a necropolis and pottery production centers.

Pintia Archaeological Zone (Center for Studies Vacceos "Federico Wattenberg") To visit the Site reservations are recommended.

Visit the Archaeological Hall of Pintia (Peñafiel), recommended within the Wine Route Ribera del Duero  which has been recreated history and way of life is recommended as the findings in the reservoir.
