The winery’s name is inspired by the essence of the luthier, the artisan who maintains an ancient profession working wood and rope creating instruments capable of making souls happy for centuries. We belief that wine made with patience and tradition can share that evocative mission of music. Only with the best grapes, the work of the winemaker, and noble aging in oak that effect is achieved. It is then when a glass of wine manages to tell us about a place, its history, its present and its future. And, furthermore, to revive our spirit.

Bodegas Vega de Yuso, is a family winery, which produces Tempranillos from Ribera del Duero, with a maximum objective: TO SURPRISE.
Located in Quintanilla de Onésimo, province of Valladolid, a town on the Golden Mile of the Ribera del Duero, 21 km from Peñafiel and 35 km from the capital.
In 2002 the project Bodegas y Viñedos Vega de Yuso, S.L. a dream come true for Rubén Iglesias: "Create your own winery where you can make a great wine."
Twenty hectares of Tempranillo with which five brands are made that are positioned in the market, competing with the best of their range.
Pozo de Nieve, Vegantigua, Tres Matas Crianza, Tres Matas Reserva and Tres Matas Vendimia Selected, five references that offer the market very different, modern and elegant wines that are suitable for all palates.
We open our doors to anyone who wants to come and meet us and taste our wines.

Vinos de La Luz is an international wine group that is based in the most important regions of the old and new world: Ribera del Duero, Toscana and Valle de Uco. In its facilities in Peñafiel, overlooking the Castle and Provincial Wine Museum, you can taste both the tempranillos de la Ribera and the wines produced in the Argentine winery of Mendoza.
The wine-tourism experience we offer to our visitors begins in the vineyards that surround the winery and continues in the deposit room, then visit the barrel room and finish with a tasting of three wines.

In 1988, the Brothers Benito Hernando (Gaspar, Javier and Fernando), born in Fompedraza and linked to this land, decided to transform the agricultural holding they owned by analyzing the best resources of the land.
The soil and climate were ideal conditions for the cultivation of the vineyard, so the best lands were selected and vineyards were planted in Curiel, Peñafiel and Fompedraza, until they now have a total of 85 hectares.
The type of soil is varied: in Curiel (at 700 meters) the vineyard is of sandy soil with silica stone, in Peñafiel (at 750 meters) of sand and clay and in Fompedraza (with an altitude of 910 meters) of black land with limestone and sandy loam. These differences in soil and altitude create harmony, bringing personality to the grapes.

Once upon a time ... in a place without the name of the Highlands of the Ribera del Duero, in the Tertiary Era, one of the best viticultural areas in the world was formed to produce quality wines.
Millions of years later, in 1960, the owners of a wood with security like El Bosque, in Peñaranda de Duero, decided to devote their deepest part to the cereal.
Simultaneously the one that today is our Viña Vieja was planted, the one that we have seen from the beginning that this winery could reach the highest quality wines.
To make a place for the cereal, the former owners removed millions of kilos of firewood from that ill-fated forest. The neighbors of the region brought their mules and donkeys to help with the collection of firewood their lives.

At almost 3,300 feet above sea level in the region of Soria you will find the uniquely isolated valley of Atauta which is considered by many to be an ethnographic jewel from a viticulturalist’s perspective. In this valley you will find pre-phylloxeric vineyards of a unique ancestral clone of the Tinto Fino grape variety that have been preserved through the centuries.

Bodegas Balbás originated in the year 1777, when our ancestor Abundio Balbás decided to start making wine. Until that moment, his trade was that of botero.
Since then, we have maintained the same spirit generation after generation, until we reach the sixth and seventh that we currently run the winery. In addition, Bodegas Balbás is a pioneer and founder of the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin, being one of the most awarded in the entire Ribera.
We have more than 100 hectares of vineyards spread across the heart of the Ribera del Duero, more specifically in the so-called ‘Golden Diamond’. Blanco, Rosado, Casrica, Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva, without forgetting our precious Ritus, Alitus and Le Bijou Rose.
Bodegas y Viñedos Monteabellón

For several generations the García family has been fully dedicated to viticulture. In 2000, taking advantage of the experience accumulated over decades and the know-how in winemaking, he founded Bodegas Monteabellón, a family winery located in the small town of Nava de Roa (Burgos), in the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin.
After several extensions, in 2017 he decided to invest in new projects within the same Warehouse, including the creation of several facilities dedicated to wine tourism, reception of visitors and more personalized attention to our customers. The care and control of the vineyard has always been an absolute priority, so the Winery has more than 120 hectares of its own vineyard in an environment of no more than 10 km.
It also has a viewpoint over 950 meters from where you can enjoy incredible views.

In the historic center of the Ribera del Duero, Oreja Convent was born in 2002, taking the name of an old Cistercian Convent of the 12th century, when a group of friends decided to carry out a project that had been beating for some time: enjoy the friendship around a glass of his wine, a glass that picked up his own style, his passion, his work and that of nature in the lands of the Ribera del Duero.
