Founded in 1972, Tinto Pesquera is a dream come true for Alejandro Fernández, a self-made man.

Following in the family tradition passed down by his father, Alejandro produces wine using grapes from his small vineyards every year.

His first winery was a 16th-century wine press, where he supervised the whole process using his signature grape, Tempranillo, the variety he has used since to produce all his wines.

The star products from Tinto Pesquera’s 200-hectare estate are crianza, reserva and special wines, such as Janús and Millenium.

GUIDED VISITS:

The visit consists of a tour of the old winery from the 16th century where the first Tinto Pesquera began to be produced, the modern vinification installations and barrel rooms, ending with a tasting of 2 wines from the Fernández Rivera Family group and a tasting of our Dehesa la Granja cheese made in our Vadillo de la Guareña winery (Zamora).

The approximate duration of the visit is 1 hour 30 minutes and payment must be made daily on arrival at the winery before starting the visit or in advance on the weekend, by credit card by phone or through wire transfer.

From 1st April 2022, the price of the visit that we are currently offering would be €20/pax. Reservations made until 15th March will be kept at the last price set.
